Candy Crush Soda Saga
At King, I had the immense priviledge to work on Candy Crush Soda Saga, the match 3 puzzle game enjoyed by millions of players every day. My role was to create and improve content, and I worked within a design team to deliver this in the form of levels and gameplay innovation, as well as assist with the implementation of the content strategy.
Responsibilities:

Created over 500 levels for end-of-content players and balanced levels throughout the progression to ensure an improved and consistent core saga experience for players.

Contributed to gameplay innovation by designing new games modes, blockers, and live operations to enhance both the core gameplay and meta experiences.

Assisted in the design of features from additional teams across the game to keep them of the highest quality and deliver a cohesive game loop.

Improved the internal feature development process, providing the tools and platform for the design team to bring their ideas to development and eventually the live game.

Led the onboarding and integration of an outsourcing team to produce high quality levels and established a sustainable and scalable pipeline and workflow.

Responsible for teaching and overseeing the onboarding of junior members to the design team, evaluating progress, and reporting to seniors.
On a final note, one of King’s greatest strengths is its culture, and this afforded me the opportunity to champion the achievements of others by creating initiatives to highlight the work of those in the team and give a platform to showcase their accomplishments.
